Why I own it?
I came across this car through a VW owners forum in 2009. It was a mystery vehicle that some people had seen, but no-one seemed to get in touch with the owner. Many people were really into it and so was I. After some digging I found an email that most likely belonged to the owner and left my contacts there. Few months later I received a phone call from the owner and I quickly went to see the vehicle and made the deal.
The car originally arrived in Estonia in the 80s and belonged to famous speed skier Aare Tamme.
It’s a rare kit car from the 70s based on VW Beetle chassis and technology. To my knowledge there are no others in the Baltics and based on the Eagle SS owners club from the UK, there might be a total of 50 cars in the whole world left.
